Spring Tour Schedule for 2010

One of the reasons that I started Bon Temps Gourmet was so that I would have a reason to go to the markets and neighborhoods of Montreal in search of exotic ingredients for my catering clients. Over the years Greg and I have shopped and eaten extensively in Montreal, becoming familiar with the local markets and bistros, forever searching out new neighborhoods for fresh epicurean adventures.

Our one-day tour of Montreal includes a culinary and cultural orientation of the city, acquainting you with its tremendous markets, ethnic neighborhoods and rich restaurant scene. If you have a group with specific interests in mind, just contact us - we'd be happy to customize a tour for you based on your group's interests and schedule (for instance a tour of Montreal's tapas bars, a circuit of the city's meat markets and butcher shops, or an excursion to rural Quebec cideries). -Gretchen

This one day tour will give you a general orientation to Montreal and its neighborhoods, useful tips on what food items can and can't be taken across the border, and many restaurant recommendations for future trips. Our van will leave Montpelier at 7:30 a.m. and return by 7 p.m.
